New LinkedIn Business Page Features

Late last year, LinkedIn updated its Company Pages, adding new fields and new sharing functionality. If you have a business page on LinkedIn, consider kicking the tires. New fields include:

Tagline – a short (120 character) summary in the header
Custom button – a new button in your page header that can drive traffic to a URL of your choice
Communities – organized around hashtags, communities allow for easier engagement with your posts

Posting in these communities makes it easier for others to discover and engage with your content.Perform a quarterly audit to make sure that your content is up to date. Hootsuite identifies 7 tips for making your page compelling.
